The company’s products include peripheral and cardiac laser catheters for ablation of stenosed and occluded arteries above and below the knee and within the coronary arteries.
The Challenge:
The customer approached Mikrotech looking for a way to manufacture the component in a more cost–effective manner. The existing component had to be molded twice to permit the use of two platinum marker bands and a passage way for the laser to function adequately.
